Fly Shop & Trip FAQs
How does booking through GuideBank work?
Submit your trip request directly through the shop’s page. Once the shop confirms guide availability, you’ll receive a secure link to pay your deposit and confirm your trip.
When do I pay for my trip?
You don’t pay anything when you submit your request. A deposit is collected only after your booking is confirmed, and the remaining balance is due the week before your trip.
What’s included in a guided trip?
Each shop provides its own gear and amenities, but most trips include a professional guide, flies, leaders, and tippet. You’ll need a valid fishing license, personal gear, and any food or drinks for the day.
What if the weather or flows are unsafe?
Safety comes first. If river conditions make the trip unsafe or unfishable, the shop will reschedule your trip or issue a raincheck credit for a future date.
Can I book for a group?
Yes. Most shops can accommodate groups. Include how many anglers you have when you fill out your booking request, and they’ll assign the right number of guides or boats.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. A valid state fishing license is required for all anglers. You can buy one online through Colorado Parks & Wildlife or directly at most fly shops.
